Che Desserts: A Sweet Taste of Vietnam in Every Spoon

For a dessert that’s light, colourful, and full of heart, it’s hard to go past a bowl of Vietnamese chè. At Che Desserts St Albans, that sweet tradition is front and centre, served with coconut milk, layered jellies, beans, tropical fruit, and tapioca pearls in every bowl.

Opened in February 2023 and located at 1/329 Main Road East, Che Desserts is part of a national franchise, but it’s also a true local story. Owner Tanya, a proud member of the Vietnamese community in St Albans, created the space to bring a flavour of home to her neighbours and friends.

St Albans is well-known for its rich Vietnamese culture, and Tanya sees Che as her way to celebrate and contribute to it. The store is open daily from 12PM to 10PM, welcoming everyone who’s craving something sweet, nostalgic, or completely new.

Whether you grew up eating chè or are discovering it for the first time, Che Desserts is a place to enjoy great flavours, friendly service, and a real sense of community.
