The SABGAI will promote and support all business operators in the St Albans Town Centre as defined by the boundaries of the Special Rate Scheme administered by Brimbank City Council. Any business affected by the Special Rate is welcome to attend SABGAI committee meetings held monthly.

The Lunar New Year is the biggest calendar event for South East Asian communities all over the world and St Albans is home to one of the biggest festivals in Australia to welcome the new year in style!
Held annually in January in Alfrieda Street, St Albans, the Festival attracts up to 90,000 people and is a celebration of St Albans being one of the most culturally diverse communities in Melbourne.

St Albans Lantern Festival
The Lantern Festival, traditionally held annually in October in Victoria Square, the Festival celebrates the Asian custom of celebrating a new harvest, prosperity and good fortune.
This story is revived annually and brings families across St Albans and the surrounding areas for a day of music, face painting, food and of course lantern decorating.
